About Me
My name is Matthew Ross Obrero and I am a graphic designer working in the field of Apparel and Marketing. I grew up in sunny Jacksonville, Florida and now living and working in rainy Portland, Oregon. I am a proud graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (2007) and the University of North Florida with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts for Photography (2013).
Over 10 years of formal art training gave me a wide range of skills across many different disciplines, but it is my love for skateboarding that has been the biggest inspiration and the driving force to my creative pursuits. I have worked as the Creative Art Director and Lead Apparel Designer at Strata Clothing Co., a Florida-based lifestyle brand, and most recently created marketing assets for brands like Nike SB, Adidas, Vans, and Volcom while working as a Digital Marketing Designer for CCS/Daddies, a skateboarding e-commerce retailer.
